Accessing the Draw Operations Benchmarking Dashboard

Description

The dashboard is available within the CLA on the Reporting tab and provides visibility into draw turnaround, productivity, and inspection operations. The interface allows filtering by multiple dimensions to surface peer comparisons and performance trends.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1: Open the Dashboard

• Navigate to the Reporting tab

• Click “Built Workbooks” tab

• Locate and open the “Draw Operations Benchmarking Dashboard”

• Note: Click the “star” icon to Favorite the dashboard and easily return to it

Step 2: Apply Filters

• Use the filter options at the top of the overview tab

• Filter selections on the Overview tab apply across all dashboard sections

• Example filter categories:

  • State (e.g., Texas, North Carolina)

  • Business Line (e.g., Owner-Occupied New Construction)

  • Time Period (Monthly, Quarterly, Annual)

  • Peer Selection (All matching peers or Top 10 performers)

    • Measured by similar portfolio size
      

Step 3: Review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• The dashboard displays KPIs such as:

  • Draw Turnaround Time

  • Draw Volumes per Admin (Productivity)

  • Inspection Turnaround Time

• These are dynamically updated based on the selected filters

Step 4: Interpret Benchmark Comparisons

• Identify how your performance compares to the anonymized peer set

• Example: If your draw turnaround is 4.5 days vs. 2.9 days for peers, you are trailing by 1.6 days

Step 5: Review Actionable Insights

• At the top of each section, the dashboard provides recommended actions

• Action items are auto-generated based on underperformance or identifiable patterns

• Example: “Explore opportunities in North Carolina for improvement” appears if that state underperforms relative to peers

Step 6: Use Weekly Trend Views

• Scroll to the bottom to view weekly trends for visual insights into changes over time

• Navigate to the Draw Productivity Benchmarking tab

• Review the volume of draws handled per administrator

• Compare against peer averages to assess staffing efficiency

Step 2: Review Inspection Operations

• Open the Inspection Operations Benchmarking tab

• Evaluate inspection turnaround metrics and the presence of pre-scheduled inspections

Step 3: Consider Scheduling Optimization

• If few pre-scheduled inspections are used, the dashboard may recommend increasing them

• Recommendations are based on trends such as slow turnaround or inefficiencies in specific states

• Pre-scheduled inspections often yield faster results
