All Built employees and external users with login credentials can sign in to the application. You can sign in to Built using a username and password or sign in using Single Sign-on if it is available. This article contains an overview of the following processes:

To sign in to Built, perform the following steps.
Go to id.getbuilt.com.
Note: As a lender, you can select a custom link (sysAdmin facilitates creating the custom link while adding the lender user) and provide it to customers and internal users.
In the Email Address field, enter your email address.
In the Password field, enter your password.
Click Log In.
Troubleshooting Login Errors
When logging into Built, you may receive the following error message (The credentials you entered are invalid) if your credentials have not been entered correctly. If you receive this error message, attempt the following steps:
Enter your email address and password manually. Using auto-saved login credentials may result in errors.
Check for errors. Additional spaces or characters entered before or after your credentials will count as invalid characters.
Clear your browser’s cache and cookies, then close your browser. Return to your browser and go to id.getbuilt.com to try again.
If you cannot log in with the credentials you have entered, it is recommended to Reset your password.
Note:
Your account must be registered to login to Built. If you have not received a Welcome to Built email to create your password and complete registration, reach out to the Lender that invited you to Built.
Logging in with single sign-on
Single sign-on (SSO) is a way for lenders to handle access control for their employees who need to access multiple services using one service. There are several platforms that can help you accomplish this task such as Okta, AzureAD, Pind Fedra, and ADFS. Built can help you set up and enable SSO for your employees so you can add it to your SSO platform, mitigating internal risks and making access more efficient for your employees.
To sign in to Built with a single sign-on, perform the following steps.
Go to id.getbuilt.com.

Click Log in with Single Sign-On.
In the Email Address field, enter your email address.
Or
In the Organization ID field, enter your organization ID.
Click Continue.
The Built home page is displayed.
Changing or resetting a password
If you enter incorrect credentials, an error message is displayed.
To change or reset your password, perform the following steps:
Go to id.getbuilt.com.
Click Forgot password?
In the Email Address field, enter your email address.
Click Reset Password.
An email is sent to the registered email address.
In your Inbox, go to the email with the Subject “Reset your Built password”.
Click Reset Password.
In the Password field, enter a password and click Reset my password. The password must meet the following criteria:
Contain at least 10 characters
Contain at least 1 lowercase character
Contain at least 1 number
