You can add external and internal stakeholders to a deal.

Note: Ensure that full access is provided to the following permissions:

  • Deal Stakeholders - Deal Stakeholder Management

  • Deal Stakeholders must be added to the Organizations Contacts (External) or Users (Internal)

Adding a Stakeholder to a deal

To add a stakeholder to a deal, perform the following steps.

  1. At the top-left of the page, click Portfolio.

  1. On the Portfolio page, click View or Deal ID for the deal that you want to update.

  1. On the left navigation menu, click Stakeholders.

  1. On the Stakeholders page, do one of the following:

  • Click + Add Stakeholder and select the required option.

  • External

  • Internal

  • In the External Stakeholders section, click + Add External Stakeholder.

  • In the Internal Stakeholders section, click + Add Internal Stakeholder.

Adding External Stakeholders

In the Add External Stakeholder dialog box, enter the following information.


  1. In the Stakeholder Type field, enter the stakeholder type such as Vendor, Appraiser, Broker, Inspector, and so on. 

This field is mandatory.

  1. In the Stakeholder Organization field, enter the name of the stakeholder organization that you want to add.

This field is mandatory.

Note:

  • The external stakeholder organization list is displayed from the contacts directory. If the stakeholder organization is not created, at the bottom of the stakeholder organization list, click Create New. For more information, see Creating a new external stakeholder.

  1. In the Related Individuals field, select the individuals.

Note: To remove stakeholder type, stakeholder organization, and related individuals, select the corresponding field and click .

  1. Click + Add External Stakeholder.

A success message is displayed indicating that the stakeholder is added successfully.

Note:

There can only 1 Borrower stakeholder associated with a deal.


Adding Internal Stakeholders

In the Add Internal Stakeholder dialog box, enter the following information.

  1. In the Stakeholder Type field, enter the stakeholder type such as Asset Manager, Credit Officer, Draw Administrator, Inspector, and so on. 

This field is mandatory.

Note: According to the selected stakeholder type, stakeholders are displayed in the stakeholder field.

  1. In the Stakeholder field, enter the stakeholder’s name that you want to add. This field is mandatory.

Note:

  • The Internal Stakeholder list is displayed from Users. If the internal stakeholder is not created, you can create a new user. For more information, see Managing users. 

  • To remove stakeholder type and stakeholder, select the corresponding field and click .

  1. Click + Add Internal Stakeholder.

A success message is displayed indicating that the stakeholder is added successfully.

How can I apply more than 1 borrower stakeholder on a deal?

In a CLA+ deal, only one "Borrower" stakeholder can be assigned per deal. This means that multiple borrowers cannot be added as stakeholders under the "Borrower" role in a single deal. The stakeholder roles apply to organizations rather than individuals, so to grant access to multiple users from one borrower, all individuals should be related to the same organization.
