  1. Once processing is complete, the AI will categorize each budget line item into one of 25 standard groups.

  2. These groups are mapped to cost types, and the cost tag for each line item is pre-populated based on the AI’s classification.

  3. A visual indicator (such as an icon) appears next to line items that have been confidently categorized by the AI.

  4. If the AI cannot confidently categorize a line item, no visual indicator will appear for that item.
