Request an inspection when an inspector is Out of Office

If the inspector is out of office for the date(s) needed and the inspection must be completed within that timeframe, you can choose a new inspector for the project. You are welcome to reassign the project back to the original inspector after the inspection is completed; this will not occur automatically.

  1. Navigate to the People tab of the project

  2. Select Change to choose a new inspector to assign to the project

  3. Request an inspection.

Note:

An inspector's OOO dates will not be displayed when scheduling inspections within a draw request. We recommend that users requesting time-sensitive inspections schedule inspections from the Dashboard or the Budget tab of the project.
