Viewing inspection reports as a borrower or builder

Borrowers and builders can view inspection reports within the borrower/builder portal using the following process. If you want to view inspection history, you can do so on the Reports tab, or from the Inspections tab on the loan details page.  

  1. Logging into Built will land you directly on the Projects tab. Click View Details for the applicable project.  

      

  2. On the loan page, click the Inspections tab.

      

  3. This page lists all draw inspections for your project. Click View Details to review a specific inspection report.

    Note: If you have a pop-up blocker enabled in your browser, you need to disable it or manually allow pop-ups to view the inspection report.

     

    On the Inspection Details page, you can view the list of inspection items, completion percentage, and corresponding photos.Click the right or left arrow buttons to scroll through the inspection photos.Click the expand button to see a fullscreen view of a photo.   

    Click Download Detailed Inspection Report at the bottom of the page to generate a printer-friendly view of the inspection report.  


FAQ

Q: Why doesn’t the inspection report have any photos?

A: In some cases, lenders might not require photos for every inspection. If you have questions about your specific inspection, please contact your Lender.

Q: What should I do if I feel the inspector missed something in their report?

A: Submit questions to your Lender in the comments section of your project.
