# Shared Saved Views

**Overview**

Shared Saved Views in Draw Management allow team members to configure and share customized views of sources & uses across their organization. This feature enhances collaboration and ensures that team members are accessing consistent and relevant data when working on draws.

## Enabling Shared Saved Views

**Description**

Before users can share saved views in Draw Management, their role must be assigned the appropriate permission. This ensures only authorized team members can create or update shared views.

**Step-by-Step Instructions:**

**Step 1:** Navigate to **Settings**.

**Step 2:** Select **Roles and Permissions**.

**Step 3:** Choose the relevant role to update.

**Step 4:** Under **Portfolio Management**, enable the **Shared Saved Views** permission.

> 
> - Only users with this permission can create or edit shared views. All users can view them.

**Description**

Once the permission is enabled, users can access the feature in the Draw Management section. Users can customize their draw view by adjusting visible columns and save it for personal use or sharing.

**Step-by-Step Instructions:**

**Step 1:** Go to the **Draw Management** tab and either create a new draw or select an existing one.

**Step 3:** Click into **Sources and Uses** .

**Step 4:** Customize your view by adding/removing columns or rearranging them as needed, using the **Columns** button.

**Step 5:** Click on **Saved Views** and select **Create View from Current**.

**Step 6:** Name the view and choose whether to save it as a private or shared view.

> - Shared views will be visible to all users in the organization.
> - Users with permission can also edit or delete shared views.

## Using Favorites and Default Views

**Description**

To improve efficiency, users can mark views as favorites or set a shared view as their default.

**Step-by-Step Instructions:**

**Step 1:** In the **Saved Views** dropdown, click the star icon next to a view to mark it as a favorite.

**Step 2:** Select a shared view and set it as the default view for quicker access.

> Favorites appear at the top of the Saved Views menu for easy selection.

## Advanced Management of Shared Views

**Description**

Admins or users with the appropriate permissions can manage shared views across the platform to maintain consistency and relevance.

**Step-by-Step Instructions:**

**Step 1:** Return to **Saved Views** in any Sources & Uses.

**Step 2:** Select a shared view you created.

**Step 3:** Click edit or delete as needed. Only users with create/update permissions can modify shared views.

> - Changes to a shared view affect all users who use that view. Communicate changes when updating shared configurations.
