When setting up a budget for a pending construction project or adjusting the budget of an active project, you may encounter various error messages as you interact with budget line items, funding sources, and accounts. These error messages will halt saving the budget until resolved - see below for resolutions for each error.
On a Pending Project, the project must contain at least one loan funding source. To resolve this error, add a loan funding source.
A project’s budget and total funding sources must be balanced. To resolve this error, balance the budget against the total funding sources.
All budget line items must be named. To resolve this error, make sure a name is populated on all line items.
An account's total prepaid amount must balance with the total prepaid amount in the budget. To resolve this, designate prepaid funds from budget line items using the Prepaid Amount column.
