Flag Permissions by Loan Status and Role
When a Loan is Pending
Create/Edit/Delete Flags: Only users with the Lender administrator role can create, edit, or delete flags.
Assign/Unassign Flags: All roles can assign or unassign flags.
When a Loan is Active
Manage Flags (Assign, Create, Delete): Only the roles below can manage flags:
Lender administrator
Branch administrator
Loan administrator
View-Only Access: All other roles can view flags but cannot manage them.
Managing Flags
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Navigate to Organization Settings and then to the Lender Settings section in your account.
You will see a list of existing flags or a blue button to start adding a flag.
To add a new flag:
Click the Add Flag button.
Enter a name and select a color for the new flag.
Save to add the flag to your list.
You can add as many flags as needed to suit your workflow.
Searching and Editing Flags
Step-by-Step Instructions:
If you have many flags, use the Search bar to quickly find a specific flag by name.
To edit a flag:
Click on the flag you wish to modify.
Update the name or color as needed in the modal that appears.
Save your changes.
To delete a flag, select it and choose the delete option.
Associating Flags with Loans in the Portfolio
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Go to the Portfolio section to view your list of loans.
Select a loan to view its details.
In the loan details, you can:
See which flags are currently associated with the loan.
Add a new flag to the loan by clicking on the Manage Flags button.
Edit or remove existing flags as needed.
Flags associated with each loan are visible in the portfolio column, making it easy to track statuses at a glance.
Note:
Check a flag to apply it to the loan. All changes will be saved automatically. You don’t need to click an extra button to save. Any change you make, assigning or unassigning flags, as well as creating, updating, or deleting a flag, is saved right away.
