# Activating a user

**To activate a user, perform the following steps.**

1. At the top-right of the page, click **Settings**.
2. On the left navigation menu, click **User Management**.
3. On the **User Management** page, go to the **Pending** tab.
4. On the **Pending** tab, under the **User Status** column, click **Invite** for the user.
5. The invitation email is sent to the user.
6. When the user clicks **Accept** in the invitation email, the user is activated and displayed on the **Users** tab.
